Editors and Publishers Leadership

MNF is honored to sponsor the Editors and Publishers Community Leadership Program, a partnership with the Blandin Foundation of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Each year, this program selects editor-publisher pairs from newspapers around the state for an intensive year of study on community leadership. What is the leadership role of a community newspaper? What are the hallmarks of a healthy community? How can community leaders avoid the common pitfalls and dangers of taking on a leadership role? The program offers no easy answers, but rather provides first-rate resources and support to experienced newspaper executives as they determine the approaches that work best for them, their enterprise and their communities.
